BEADING FOR EXPERIENCED HANDS: REDO AND RENEW
INSTRUCTOR: ROBIN CHALY
Whether you want to reinvent a vintage piece of mother’s jewelry, redesign a necklace that has been shoved to the back of your drawer and never worn or take the final step in creating a fabulous gemstone necklace using that one-of-a-kind pendant you created in a silver smithing class, enameling class, lampworking class, etc., this is the class for you!
Bring 4 to 6 pieces of jewelry that you would like to refresh, and I will assist you in designing artful pieces that you will be proud to wear.
You may also choose to use your creativity and begin a new masterpiece!
Class Fee: $150 - $300 or more depending on student purchases
Materials Fee: $45 (student receives an assortment of findings, spool of Flex-Wire, bead stoppers and a medium plastic box for holding supplies)
Prerequisite: Beginning Beading and Design or Instructor’s approval. Must have the ability to manipulate small beads and findings (clasps, crimps, wire protectors, knots, etc.).
Robin is a retired elementary music specialist and private vocal coach. She received her Bachelor of Music degree from Augusta College in Augusta, Georgia and her Master of Music degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Robin and her husband, Steve (also a retired teacher), moved to Hiawassee, Georgia in 2017 and began taking a variety of classes at William Holland Lapidary School.
Robin is intrigued by color, texture and creative design when beading and would like to share that interest with you. When she is not beading, Robin also enjoys reading, quilling, and playing the accordion, and pampering their spoiled feline, Baggins.
Please contact William Holland School of Lapidary Arts if you have any questions.
