CROCHET I - GRANNY SQUARE
INSTRUCTOR – ANNA CONRAD
In this Crochet I class your instructor will use the Granny Square technique to teach students the basic techniques of crocheting. Students will learn to hold a crochet needle and yarn, make slip knots and create multiple granny square patterns including how to make the initial chain, form the patterns, and create cluster stitches that form a square shape. Students will learn to join different colors in the same granny square, join granny squares together for larger projects and learn to read crochet patterns. By the end of the class students should be able to complete basic granny squares and feel confident about taking on basic crochet projects.
