Participants must be 18 years to 120 years old when the program starts.
Micro Macramé II
Instructor: Kristin Pietras
Class Description: This Micro Macramé class builds on the skills learned in the Micro Macramé I class. Students will use some of the same knots but will also learn new knots. Students will complete the following 5 projects:
Class Fee: $125.00
Class Materials : All cord, beads, cabochons, findings and pictured instructions needed to complete each project will be provided by the instructor. If students have their own Macramé board, they can bring it, otherwise a board will be provided for use in class. Other tools necessary to complete a project, such as scissors, lighter, glue, bead mat and fray check, will also be available for student use.
Prerequisites: Micro Macramé I or recent Micro Macramé experience.
For more than 20 years, Kristin has enjoyed making jewelry. Over the years, Kristin became fascinated with many forms of jewelry and is proficient in Chainmaille, Micro Macramé, Kumihimo and Beading. Kristin’s instructor experience began in 2017 when she was invited to teach Chainmaille at The Great Bead Escape Retreat.
Two years later, after becoming self-taught in Micro Macramé, Kristin began creating and then teaching her own Micro Macramé designs at the same retreat. Kristin is also an instructor of Chainmaille, Micro Macramé and Beading Weaving at the Jacksonville Gem and Mineral Society. In 2025, Kristin will begin teaching her Micro Macramé designs at William Holland School of Lapidary Arts.
