POLY CLAY I WITH JUDI WILD

Judi, always the consummate crafter and eager to learn new skills, started wire wrapping in 2007. She attended William Holland bi-annually and learned Wire Wrapping skills from the very best. She has also taken several Chain Maille and Silversmithing classes to further refine and add to her wire working skills.  Judi is the co-founder of the Greater Birmingham Bead Society (established in 2008), having served in each officer position and is currently on its Executive Committee. Since 2008, Judi has taught at local bead stores, bead shows, and all-day retreats, as well as providing numerous programs for the bead society. She is a member of both the Alabama Mineral & Lapidary Society and the Huntsville Gem & Mineral Club.  Judi also teaches Polymer Clay I & II. While looking for an alternative activity to wire wrapping and wire weaving, she absolutely fell in love with the versatility of polymer clay. She is a member of the International Polymer Clay Association and numerous PC Guilds across the country. Judi organized a PC Group in her hometown to learn and share more about this colorful medium.  Most recently, Judi has jumped on the resurging bandwagon of Macrame'. So many crafts seem cyclical in nature, and Macrame is no different.  She is teaching our first “fiber” class with a “Macrame’ 101” class.  Judi and her husband, John, who is a William Holland Cabochon instructor, now live in Boaz, AL with a rescue Yorkie who has more travel miles than most folks' luggage.
