METAL ETCHING I: WEEKEND CLASS:
INSTRUCTOR: SAMANTHA LAZZARO
Saturday, 9 AM to 5 PM
Learn simple, safe, and repeatable ways to etch designs into metal using a variety of techniques. Etch copper, brass, steel and silver for jewelry, decoration, rolling mill texture plates, etc.
Class Fee includes a class kit with etching solutions, different copper shapes, copper sheet, and findings to use for the projects. Additional metal pieces, tools, and findings will be available for purchase. Silver will not be provided in class. If you would like to etch silver, please bring it with you.

Samantha (Sam) has vast experience in working with metal and enameling techniques. She teaches Enameling I and II, Fused Glass, and Metal Etching at William Holland. She has been beading since her teens and began working with glass and metal when she moved to Florida. Besides being self-taught, she has taken numerous classes at William Holland to expand her knowledge of the lapidary arts.
