LEATHER BAGS AND ACCESSORIES WEEKEND
INSTRUCTOR: TOM SLAVICEK
You will have time to make up to 2 or 3 leather projects, depending on size and complexity. You can choose from over 100 bag and project templates to make phone pouches, passport wallets, belts, totes, Scottish sporrans, journals and more. Learn techniques for cutting and stitching leather, using leather crafting tools, and drawing designs directly onto leather and colorizing your designs. If desired, you can learn how to use a wood burning tool to inscribe a design directly onto the leather and then colorize it and cut your own leather lace and braid a strap.
All leathers, materials, tools, and instructions are provided, along with templates. No artistic ability is necessary, nor is any previous leather working experience. You do not need to bring anything except your enthusiasm, and your desire to make something beautiful!
Feel free to contact Tom Slavicek, Instructor, if you have any questions or special requests.
