ALL ABOUT PRONGS
INSTRUCTOR: JUDI WILD
All about Prongs. If you are a wire-wrapping artist who is ready to take your work to another level, this class is for you. Understanding when and how to use prong settings opens a whole world of items that can now be wrapped securely; from the odd-shaped found objects & memento to the smaller stones. You will learn a variety of different prong settings for pendants, bracelets, and earrings, too. Together, we will build a great foundation from the basic structure of prongs to their proficiency.
Class fee covers practice and prototype wire, a comprehensive handbook with instructions and photos, as well as the use of various essential tools for working with prongs. There will be a list of wire requirements distributed prior to class for your individual projects.
Class Fee: $65
Materials: $100 - $375
Prerequisite: Two Wire I week-long classes or Wire I plus 6-months wrapping experience
Please contact William Holland School of Lapidary Arts if you have any questions.
