This class is designed for beginning wire-wrapping students, but it also makes an excellent refresher—no prerequisites required. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and build a solid foundation for expanding your jewelry-making skills—all while having fun.
You’ll learn about:
● Tool selection and proper use
● Purchasing cabochons and wire
● Choosing the right wire for specific projects
● Techniques for shaping and manipulating wire into beautiful jewelry
Class projects will include rings, earrings, bracelets, and pendants. Tool kits will be available for use during class. However, if you already have tools you prefer, you’re welcome to bring them. Please bring an Optivisor or strong magnifying glasses for close-up detail work.
The class/lab fee includes a notebook, handouts, and instructional materials. Materials/project fees will vary depending on current metal prices, the number of projects you complete, and the stones or embellishments you select. I’d love to work alongside you as you begin or continue—your wire-wrapping journey!
